We’re not doing the full 90 miles! But it’s a great stroll for the family.
The 90 Mile Beach is as advertised. 90 miles long! It’s a beautiful stretch of beach to the South East in Gippsland, Victoria. Driving down the Princes Highway, head through Rosedale and off towards the lakes region. There are some great beach towns, many undiscovered for the bulk of the Melbourne population, many of whom now reside just 2 hours drive away. The urban sprawl is starting to put the South Eastern Suburbs in reach of some great family holiday spots.

It can get a little bit windy down on the 90 Mile Beach, something to be aware of. There’s also plenty of free camping along the beach at various locations. Lot’s of families were around when we last went pass over the new years period. Family camping by the beach is definitely on our #todoing list!
This walk corresponded with #wildlifewednesday and Harry is a big fan of nature, bugs and basically any animal alive or dead. He collected a lot of cuttlefish shells and proudly showed them off next to a dead puffer fish. Jed gave it it’s last rights and a RIP sign for good measure! A lot of fun and plenty of water and sand to go around.
